As I sat on the bed next to you
You told me you loved me, too
You winked at me the whole time
And told me you were going to be just fine
I sat there crying as they took you away
Thinking you'll be back here one day
Then I came to see you
We brought you a balloon
You talked about a Japanese watch dog
But my mind was in a fog
You gave me scare
My heart began to tare
It was only a few days
And it was as if I was in a maze
I thought only forty-four more
Then I started feeling sore
The next thing I know
I was hit right in the core
My mom told me your fate
You had cleared your slate
I have cried myself to sleep
All I can do is weep
You were my best friend
You always told me to set a new trend
I love you so much
I'm never letting go of my clutch
I will see you soon
Every time I look toward the stars and the moon I will think of you
